Levi and Caroline’s Wedding {Scott Mansion | Tellico Plains, Tennessee}

It all happened so fast. One minute I was photographing Levi & Caroline for their engagement session & we were talking about Tennessee Wesleyan College’s upcoming baseball season, where Levi had just transferred. Next thing I know, they’re headed to the NAIA tourney & end up winning the National Championship. And a few days later, Levi is drafted by the Seattle Mariners. Then, at Caroline’s bridal shoot, she informs me that the day after their wedding, they were headed to Mariner training camp in Virginia. Whew… so many wonderful & exciting things packed into a few short months.

However, it’s not all of this excitement that really made me eager for Levi & Caroline’s wedding. Rather, it’s the ease of conversation I shared with them both & how they seem, like a puzzle, to fit together. As I look through Caroline’s Instagram feed, I am assured that Caroline is Levi’s biggest fan. I love seeing the pics at the stadium & what seems like a regular diet of stadium hot-dogs… after all, they are the best! Yet, if we were to get to the heart of it, although Caroline is in the stands cheering on her man, I can guarantee you it is he who is the fan of his bride.

I felt honored to photograph Levi & Caroline’s Historic Scott Mansion Wedding. Friends & family from all over the country flew in for the wedding, arriving at one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the region. I had my dear friend & incredible photographer, Alan, assisting me for the wedding so I knew we’d hit every angle. And, because of his influence, I knew a little Justin Bieber would be piped through the speakers on the way to & from. Can’t win them all! Ha. Below is a selection from the wedding day.

The Bakery in Athens, TN did an incredible job not only with the cakes but also the catering for the reception. I love working with Dawn & her crew!

Such a moving moment when Caroline’s grandfather teared up as he congratulated his granddaughter.
